Peter and Carol have lived in this area of Andalucia since mid 2000 and have spent 4 of those years self building this magnificent house!!
Carol says: We have been welcoming holiday guest to "Arthur's Vineyard" for a number of years now and many are returning year after year for their relaxing break in the sun! Be it a week in the wonderful self catering apartment or a few days of being looked after in B&B accommodation, it does not take long to get used to the peace and tranquility of this inland and often missed part of Spain. We started to build
the house in 2001 and it took us four years to complete, all by
ourselves! It is difficult to believe that we have now been in this
beautiful part of Andalucia for eleven years. Many family things
have happened since we arrived here - four weddings, eight
grandchildren, and sadly a few funerals. But we are still here at
Arthur's Vineyard inviting you to come and stay in our two
bedroom apartment with it's stunning views of the lake and
mountains. Or stay in the main house with us as our houseguest's
for bed and breakfast where you can stay as long as you like and
be your own boss. Which ever you choose you will not be
disappointed with the inland area of the Costa del Sol.
We are both friendly outgoing people who love to meet others and to share with them this wonderful area of Andalucia, with its traditions, festivals, grape growers, olive pickers and goat herders, there is always something to enjoy here. We also have two friendly dogs who love to go for a walk with whoever wishes to take them, sometimes the cats come too!!
Peter loves to cook and entertain and will always find the time to sit and chat away to you over a cool beer or a glass of wine. Carol will do her best to make sure that your stay at Arthur’s Vineyard is relaxing, enjoyable and truly memorable.
So whatever you fancy, be it a week of wandering around this amazing countryside, with its lake, valleys and mountains, B&B or a Lazy Break Weekend lounging by the pool with a beer and nothing to do but gaze out at the panoramic views. Or maybe you too would like to make this area of Spain your home. Why not come and join us, we like making new friends and would love to meet you.
