Moving To Spain Information Holiday Weeks 

Are you thinking of moving to Spain but don’t know the first thing about what you need to do? Have you read horror stories in magazines or watched the Television programme that show you all the pitfalls? The hidden cost that no one mentions until the bill has to be paid, the paperwork needed to buy a house. “How much would the solicitor cost you, what is the estate agents commission?” “ How do I obtain an NIE number, or what is an NIE and what does it do?” “How does the health service work in Spain and what cover would I be entitled to.” “Do I need to speak Spanish?!”  How would you like to find out how to avoid all of the pitfalls, and have the answers to these questions, we are sure that you would like to know as much as  possible before you make the move.  You must have asked yourself - is it better to sell all the furniture and buy new when you get here, or have everything packed up and moved to the new property, what would the cost be? Do I rent before buying a property, do I sell the car and buy a Spanish one?  How do you find out all this information and where do you find it?

Here at Arthur’s Vineyard we are running seminar - holiday - information weeks to help you have the answers to the questions you have on your mind. The weeks are run during February March October and November you will stay at this lovely warm friendly country house, which has stunning views overlooking Lake Vinuela, a popular area for expatriates. Your accommodation will be in a twin or double en suite room, which is  heated on cooler nights.  Each room is individually furnished, and has  panoramic views over the lake, mountains and surrounding countryside. Your accommodation would be on a half board basis, to include breakfast and lunch or evening meal. (This would depend on the schedule for the day).

A typical days itinerary would include a talk at the house by a professional, he or she would talk to you and answer your questions about the law, finance, mortgages, pensions, banking , and  buying or selling property in Spain.  There would also be someone to talk to you about driving licence requirements and car registration in Spain.  We will also arrange for the medical field to be discussed, giving you advise on what health cover you are entitled to or what health insurance cover you will need. You may also need advice on repeat medical needs that you already have in the UK.  We are sure that there are many more things that you would like to know and we at Arthur’s Vineyard will do our best to provide the information you require.  And to help you on you way to an easy start. We will arrange for you to have a few short basic Spanish lesson - then there will be no problem when you ask for your “café con leche y menu del dia” at the local bar.

These weeks are designed to help save you time effort and money and are in no way aimed at selling you property.

Our price for these special weeks are (based on two people sharing), £375 per couple per week, less than £190 per person.

If you would like to be a little more independent and would like to hire your own car we advise that this be done in advance from one of the many car hire firms at Malaga airport at the same time as booking your flight.
