Arthur’S Vineyard perches high on the mountain ridge, overlooking two stunning valleys, in the kingdom of eagles, hawks and buzzards. This beautiful country house, built in a traditional Spanish style, offers all the comforts of a modern lifestyle - and a welcoming ambience. It's situation, on a walk called “Route de la Torre Atalaya”, offers you the opportunity to enjoy views from the ridge as far as the Mediterranean and back to Lake Vinuela, with its ring of surrounding mountains. With no light pollution the night sky  is truly magical. Alternatively, explore the Andalucian whitewashed villages in the foothills of Maroma (which has its own national park) or you may prefer to go a little higher to its peak. There are many other places of interest to be found around this valley, water falls, “bat caves” Roman ruins, and pine forests,  and disused railway lines all waiting to be explored.










If golfing is your ideal way to spend your holiday Arthur's Vineyard is a wonderful place to stay,  we are just 20 minutes drive from Baviera Golf Club at La Caleta de Velez.
Anoreta Golf Club which was the first golf course to be built in the area east of Malaga city is just 25 minutes away.  Within  40 minutes drive are:
Guadalhorce where you will find that the first 9 holes are a parkland type course and the back 9 has elevated greens
Lauro is a scenic course set in gentle hills and has wonderful views of the sea and the mountains.
Malaga Parador  was founded in 1925 and is the oldest golf course on the Costa del Sol
El Candado is a short course but don't let that fool you and don't be distracted by the sea views!
Antequera Golf Course with its 18 holes is 650 metres above sea level and is surrounded by El Torcal Nature Park.
All other golf courses on the Costa del Sol are within an hour and half of Arthur's Vineyard. 
And don't forget the lovely courses around Granada!!

Walking and Golf Holidays
If your are a bird watching enthusiast don't forget to bring your binoculars there are many birds to be seen from the terraces of the house and along your walking route. Maybe wild flowers are your particular field, they are here in abundance in the early spring months.
