Arthur's Vineyard enjoys commanding views across the lake towards Hotel Vinuela which is a popular venue for weddings, parties, a special evening meal or just a relaxing drink. We are ideally situated for wedding guest, either in our apartment or B&B accommodation, who would like to incorporate into their wedding invitation a relaxing holiday in the Axarquia.
From the villa you will be able to easily visit many of the white villages of Andalucia. Comares, Alcaucin, Vinuela, and Benamargosa are a short drive. All through the summer these villages hold their festivals which continue well into the night with music and dancing for all the family. Our own village of Los Romanes has its festival around the 15th August and is one not to be missed!! For a slightly more adventurous day out Seville, Granada and Cordoba are all a short drive away.
Shopping is easy in this area of Spain, only 20 minutes away in Velez Malaga or in the Coastal towns of Torre del Mar and Nerja you will be spoiled for choice. There are two golf courses close by, Baviera and Anoreta, both of these are open to the general public at reasonable cost and all equipment including golf carts and trolleys can be hired. We are situated on a walkway called the Ruta de la Torre Atalaya which give the walker far reaching views to the Lake and to the coast atTorre del Mar, the medieval tower is just a short distance from the Buddhist retreat at Trapichie, both well worth a look at! Whatever you enjoy on vacation, be it beaches, activities, eating out, horse riding or just relaxing by the pool, you will love "Arthur's Vineyard" at Lake Vinuela.
